Congregation Ein Jacob (Anshe Vilna) is established.

The congregation meets initially at 16 Poplar Street (13 Lowell Street). It moves to 42 Leverett Stret, 15 Cotting Street in 1900, then to 35 Barton Street. It merges with Mishkan Sholom Ahshai Birsh, Beth Jacob to become United Congregation Beth Jacob in 1923.*
